Sure Fire Rotor Disc Magnet 5 x 3mm

Sure Fire Rotor Neodymium Disc Magnet 5 x 3mm, nickel plated.

As fitted to Sure Fire magnetic rotors. Two used per magnetic rotor.

Diameter: 5mm

Thickness: 3mm

Axially magnetized.

For these to work correctly with the Sure Fire system, they should be inserted into an aluminium carrier (rotor) slightly recessed inside the outer edge, with the inner ends of the magnets contacting with a steel snap ring or circlip.

Once fitted, the magnets should be retained by carefully folding over the outer edge of the aluminium at two or more points with a small pin punch (a blunt chisel can also be used).

Important note: for correct operation the polarity of the magnets should both be the same, i.e. by checking with a magnetic compass that the outside of both magnets are seeking the south pole of the compass.
